Cyanotypes (Sun Prints)

Cyanotypes, or sun prints, are a type of photography exposed by the sun! Each person will learn the process and take home their own created image. They are one of the oldest photographic processes. Known for their signature blueish tint, they are made by placing negatives or objects onto the paper and setting them in the sun. The sun exposes the part of the paper not covered and creates an inverse of that picture resulting in a dreamy otherworldly image. For Adults. Sign up at the adult info desk or call 817-788-7300. July 16th, 10am-12pm, program room n&s.
