The 14th annual Hurst Firefighters Steak Dinner is Saturday, October 12 from 4 - 8 p.m. The Hurst Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association puts this fundraiser on in support of the Hurst Fire Department. All funds go to purchasing non-budgeted safety equipment. Last year, they purchased 2 sets of electric extrication equipment to outfit 2 fire engines with the money raised from this event.
