Kids to Parks Day is a national day of outdoor play celebrated annually. The day connects kids and families with local, state, and national parks and public lands through thousands of park events promoting discovery and exploration in the great outdoors. Celebrate with us as you make your DIY kite to fly across our city parks. The event will be hosted on the west lawn of Hurst Community Park starting at 9:00 a.m. Kites and water will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis.
