As part of the City Council Strategic Plan, a free e-mail subscription service has been established by The City of Hurst. The service allows the public to subscribe to more than 10 distinct information categories and receive e-mail notification whenever the City posts new information related to the chosen categories on the website. City officials hope the system helps residents get the information they want as quickly and efficiently as possible. This system helps people interested in receiving notice of job openings, meeting minutes and agendas, news releases, and other important information via e-mail. 

Text messages are also sent. (*Standard text message rates apply if charged by your phone company.) This is an option that you can activate through your subscriber preferences.
