Artist Amanda Starnes

Amanda describes why she chose to highlight L.D. Bell High School in her design. "L.D. Bell High School has been a top-tier school since it opened in 1957. The elementary and junior high students are all given the structure they need to succeed at Bell High School. I graduated from L.D. Bell in 1990. My children were very involved in the L.D. Bell Blue Raider Band and are Bell graduates as well. No matter the interests, the students at Bell have a tremendous variety of programs to be involved in, not to mention the solid faculty to encourage their higher-level learning. I have always loved the traditions and foundations that this school provides to the Hurst community."
