Working at the direction of the City Manager and City Council, the City of Hurst Marketing and Communication Division serves as the central point of contact for marketing and communication activities citywide.

The Division is responsible for:

  • maintaining the City website
  • production of the Where We Live magazine
  • City of Hurst social media channels
  • media relations
  • crisis communication
  • cable channel and streaming video
  • production of the Water Quality Report
  • marketing campaigns
  • graphic design
  • advertising
  • video production
  • photography

Hurst City Council names new City Manager

Hurst City Manager Clay CaruthersCity Council appointed Clay Caruthers as city manager at the March 22, 2016 city council meeting. 

Clay will take on his new role in July when longtime manager Allan Weegar retires after more than 30 years with the city.
