Powers and Duties:

The City Council established the Public Safety and Infrastructure Committee on August 13, 2024 with Ordinance 2573. Members shall be appointed by a majority of the City Council

  1. Review projects and programs identified by the City Council and staff that will support the Council's Strategic Plan.
  2. Pay attention to programs designed to maintain residential and commercial property values throughout the city, as well as matters pertaining to community vitality, infrastructure, and safety.
  3. Review complaints and suggestions regarding community code, beautification, neighborhood revitalization programs and initiatives, and transportation infrastructure and safety matters.
  4. Function as an advisory and recommending body to the City Council and will have no role in enforcement or inspection activities.
