Municipal Elections

The City Secretary's Office is responsible for conducting municipal elections as prescribed by the Election Code of the State of Texas and the City Charter.

The general election to elect officers of the City is held on the first Saturday in May of each year.

Voter Registration

Applications for Voter Registration are available at:

First Saturday in May 2026 - Elect Councilmembers to Place 3(Mayor), Place 4, Place 5 and Place 7

The City of Hurst election day polling location is typically Brookside Center at 1244 Brookside Dr., Hurst (subject to change pursuant to Tarrant County Elections Administration contract.)
