Permitting Process.

•  ALL permits are submitted online via the Citizen Self-Service Portal (CSS), (www.hursttx.gov/css).
• Create an account   ** USE COMPANY NAME & COMPANY EMAIL, NOT AN INDIVIDUAL'S **
•  Submit plans and all necessary documentation in PDF format.
• All fees are invoiced and emailed directly to you for payment through your CSS portal.
• In addition to credit cards, we accept e-check through the CSS portal.
• Inspections are requested via your CSS portal

How do I register as a contractor?

• City of Hurst no longer requires contractors to register annually.  
•  Contractors will register through EACH permit application, providing a copy of an US issued ID, Trade License (if applicable), and copy of general liability insurance.

What if I was hired as a contractor after the permit was applied for?

The applicant  adds the contractor in an existing permit under the “Contacts” tab of the permit summary, and uploads a copy of their U.S. issued I.D. and Certificate of Insurance.

What are my permit fees?

FAQ: Water heater, water service, and backflow device inspections include include customer service inspections.

Massage Establishment Information

The City of Hurst requires existing massage establishments to be registered and inspected annually with the City.  There is a $60 registration and inspection fee.
