Notification from the City’s Bidder’s List

The City of Hurst utilizes Public Purchase to solicit bids and proposals for its product and service needs. Public Purchase brings together an extensive database of government agencies, suppliers, and contractors which enables the City to improve its service to you by providing automatic bid notification and instant access to bid information via the Web. Public Purchase maintains the City’s bidder’s list.

Although it is not required, the City encourages all potential bidders to participate in this system of electronic bid notification as the City will post bids online through Public Purchase as well as addendums and answers to vendor questions. If you are registered with Public Purchase, the electronic system will automatically notify your firm of Invitations to Bid and Request for Proposals that have been posted by the City and are relevant to your business. You can download bid documents, ask questions and submit responses all online.

Visit our Vendor Registration and Resources page for instructions on how to establish a free account with Public Purchase and register as a vendor with the City of Hurst.

Public Advertising

Advertisements seeking sealed bids (or proposals) for the procurement of goods and services that exceed $25,000 will be placed in the classified (legal notice) section of the City’s official newspaper. The advertisement will be published once a week for two consecutive weeks prior to the date when they are opened.
