The residential curbside recycling program is available to all residential water customers within the City limits of the City of Hurst. Participation in the program is voluntary, but every residential water customer regardless of his or her level of participation is charged a monthly fee for the service. All new residential water customers will be provided a recycling container by the City's contractor for the collection of recyclable materials. The water department can assist you in identifying your collection schedule.

Each household is provided a recycle cart for recycling. Acceptable materials may be combined in the cart and placed curbside once per week.

  • Residents who reside north of Hwy 121 will have their recyclable items collected on Monday.
  • Residents who reside south of Hwy 121 will have their recyclable items collected on Tuesdays.
