The Utility Billing Division is responsible for maintaining the Utility Billing system for water, waste-water, sanitation, and recycling services. The City maintains over 12,000 active accounts, which are billed on a monthly basis. The City contracts with Republic Services for collection of garbage and recycling, and provides consolidated billing for these services with the customer's water and waste-water bills.

The City of Hurst has partnered with Fidelity Express allowing our utility billing customers to pay their bills at any participating retail location via cash, check or money order. These retail stores will not have access to your account information, so be sure to bring your water bill invoice when paying. Payments made at these locations are not posted to customers’ accounts until the next business day. So, if your water is scheduled to be turned off or is already off, it is advisable that you call the City of Hurst at 817-788-7040 to discuss the options available to you.
