Thank you for registering your home or business cameras with the City of Hurst Police Department. Your registration helps us partner with you to enhance our crime prevention efforts.

 

Many Hurst business owners and home owners currently have security surveillance systems.  If a crime occurs nearby, you are not always aware that your surveillance system may have captured information that could help Hurst Police solve a crime. Additionally, the police are also not always aware who may have potentially vital information via their surveillance systems.

 

Through our Hurst Camera Registration program, residents and business owners can share their camera installation structure and allow detectives to view footage that could aid in an investigation. 

 

This is a completely voluntary program!  Hurst Police Department does encourage you to register your surveillance system with us.  In the event there is an investigation at your location and security footage would be beneficial in the investigation of the crime, our officers or detective would contact you for assistance.
